brooks461 > Chicago O'Hare, where I retrieved and rerouted my misdirected suitcase. Whew! But I feel really bad for the guy whose suitcase went to Japan, when he really wanted it to go to Chicago.

brooks461 > Of course this wasn't our plane, but it shared our airspace for an hour or so. Our guess was it was going to Asia, too. It was smaller than our plane, so might have taken off in the US West somewhere, instead of Chicago, as ours did. My seatmate says this smaller plane can't make the longer hop.

brooks461 > If this isn't Denali, I don't know what it is. Can you believe that most people on the plane slept through this? I'm sure I disturbed people by opening my window shade, but I gasped when I spied it!

brooks461 > I was very happy to see my friends, Moeko, Chiaki, and Chieko at the airport. Moeko, Chiaki, and Chieko had never met each other before, but all three had visited my house in PA. Pizza in a Japanese pizza restaurant was very welcome.
