We rented a villa at Angelica Villas at the edge of the town of Ancient Epidavros, on the northeast coast of Peloponnese. We couldn't have been happier.

brooks461 > I loved these chairs. They were everywhere, and in the evenings, men sat in them. These were outside the church in Ancient Epidavros port.

brooks461 > We never did find out what kinds of fish these fishing boats were after. Lots of nets, though.

brooks461 > The water view from the tavernas was always entertaining.

brooks461 > "Small Fish" on the menu, whatever that means.

brooks461 > Iced coffee: frappe (pronounced "frappay"), made with instant Nescafe.

brooks461 > Small pleasure boats tucked away in a shallow corner of Ancient Epidavros harbor. Note the wooden chairs with rush seats. Some tavernas had them painted, but none were plastic. Nice.

brooks461 > Clear blue water -- you could see the fish.
